HOW WE SERVE

We offer pregnancy testing, ultrasound, and STD testing to help transform their fear into confidence and empower them to make informed, healthy decisions.  By sharing medically accurate information, embracing them in a caring atmosphere, and encouraging them to receive Christ’s love and destiny for their lives, we offer hope to mothers considering abortion.

There are many reliable, quality resources in our community to help with various issues a patient may be experiencing.  One of our top priorities is to connect our patients with the appropriate resources to best serve their individual needs. We care about both the baby and the mother and strongly desire to meet both of their needs in the best way possible.

Our goal is to answer these three important questions for our patients: 

• “Am I really pregnant?”

• "How far along am I?"

• "Do I have an STD?"
   

All our services are offered at no cost to our clients. Ultrasounds are one of our most-requested services. Studies have found that over half of abortion-minded women who see their unborn child via ultrasound will choose life for that child.

If our clients chose to make an adoption plan, we provide referrals for adoption agencies and pro-life adoption attorneys so they have the support they need.

For women who have had an abortion in the past, we can provide counseling and abortion recovery support groups and bible studies.  First Step Women's Center partners with Embracing Grace after Abortion, a study for women, and Healing a Father’s Heart, a study for men, in either a weekend retreat or 8-week format.  The mission is to provide a supportive and confidential environment that facilitates healing and restoration, bringing a sense of hope and purpose for the future.
